How to get to Oneroa B&B

Oneroa Bed and Breakfast is located right in the heart of Waiheke Island’s main suburb, Oneroa.

From Matiatia, Waiheke Island.

Walk: From the Ferry terminal take the main road (only road!) up a gentle rise to the village of Oneroa. This is an easy 15-20 minute stroll.

There is also a walk  thru the forest and bird reserve, this starts at the Eastern end of the Bay starting with a little bridge over a stream. Follow the track markings to Oneroa. Approx 20-25 minutes.

Bus: All ferries are met by the local bus company. All the busses will bring you to Oneroa Village, 2-3 minutes journey, The Onetangi Bus will drop you at the Library, ask the driver to stop there for you, Oneroa B and B is then 30 odd meters in the same direction the bus was travelling on the opposite side of the road.

Taxi: There are generally quite few taxis at the taxi stand but you might be best to book one to guarantee a ride. Try Island Taxis.

From Kennedy Point Waiheke Island.

Walk on/off( no car): From Kenedy point there are both a SeaLink bus service (terminates in Oneroa Village outside our door) and a Taxi rank. These can be unreliable depending on the time of year and the time of day you make your crossing. Definitely worth asking the crew about the bus once on board, you’ll have plenty of time to book a Island Taxi if the bus is not running.

Traveling with a car: Once you drive off the Sealink ferry on Waiheke Island simply follow Donald Bruce Road (that’s the road you’ll disembark onto). Two minutes drive will bring you to a roundabout intersection, turn left. After driving 4-5 minutes you’ll come to another roundabout, drive straight thru and you’ll find yourself in Oneroa Village. Continue up through the village to one last roundabout, straight thru again and you’ll see Oneroa B and B (106 Ocean View Rd) on your left 100 meters further on. Park on the grass, beside our Cedar fence. Well done you’re here!
